Complementing the sawmill at Ellesmere is our retail outlet at Gledrid on the outskirts of Chirk, approximately five miles away. This five acre site is conveniently located next to the A5 between Oswestry and Wrexham, and offers a "one stop shop" service to the general public and local contractors.
The site was originally acquired as round timber stake manufacturing plant in 1972 but ceased production during 2000 mainly due to a decline in demand and unfeasible competition from importers. As a result of this, a large amount of the land was converted into a thriving business park and the remaining site is now purely dedicated to retailing fencing materials manufactured by the sawmill, as well as DIY products, Garden tools and garden furniture.

The office is open seven day a week.

8.00am - 1.00pm Saturdays
